EIS Migrations to Redesign Inventory

In March 2022 we began the process of balancing eight EIS districts to Redesign Inventory test databases. This balancing project was often derailed by the discovery of redesign issues that required intervention at the developer level. There have been more than twenty seven development updates to the Redesign Inventory program since we began working on the migrations.

As of the end of November 2022, we have six of those eight districts balanced and live in Redesign. The final two have minor issues. In both cases we are waiting on information from either SSDT or the district itself. We anticipate having these final two live in early December.

Have you wanted to Archive Payroll Items? Now you can!

Not only can you archive individual payroll items from an employee, but you can also archive Payroll Items in the Payroll Item Configuration grid. However, before you archive in the Payroll Item Configuration you need to make sure that you don’t have anyone paying into that payroll item. Once you archive the Configuration all payments will no longer be taken from the employee.

If a Payroll Item Configuration is archived, all the Payroll Items attached to it are archived.

• A Payroll Item Configuration code cannot be recreated if one is already archived.  It would need to be unarchived and used again or another payroll item configuration created.
• Payroll items cannot be added to employee’s when the payroll item configuration is archived.
• If a Payroll Item Configuration is archived, none of the payroll items will be pulled into the pay (since payroll items are archived). 
• Both Payroll Item Configurations and Payroll Items must be unarchived to pull into the payroll:
