Question:

Can a vendor check be “unvoided”?

Answer:

No, but here’s a workaround:

Go to Fund Accounting > Vendor Checks > Manual Checks, and issue a new check to the vendor. Use the same check number as the original but add an ‘R’ at the end (indicating replacement). It’s important not to print the check; you are simply entering it into the system to maintain accurate accounting records and reconcile it with your bank statement.

We also recommend using the Note feature when entering the manual check to note that this was a replacement check for the original check because the original check was voided in error, etc. Whatever makes sense so you have it for your auditors and anyone else who would look at the record in the system.
