NEOnet Supports Districts Conversion to PowerSchool eFinancePLUS to Streamline Financial and Human Resource Information

CUYAHOGA FALLS, OH – (Nov. 28, 2017) – Northeast Ohio Network for Educational Technology (NEOnet) has been involved in Ohio’s eFinancePLUS software conversion to PowerSchool eFinancePLUS since its inception. The software is offered as one of NEOnet’s service options for districts and helps streamline their financial, payroll, accounting and human resource systems.

Over 50 school districts across the state of Ohio have implemented the PowerSchool eFinancePLUS software. NEOnet is proud to use the software as well.

“NEOnet has been working with the Ohio Association of School Business Officials (OASBO) and the Management Council: Ohio Education Computer Network (MCOECN) to ensure that school districts’ transition to PowerSchool is a success,” said Executive Director Matthew Gdovin. “We have also been sitting on the eFinancePLUS Advisory Committee (eFAC) to collaborate with all Ohio information technology centers and school districts to confirm this is the best solution.”

Since its inception, NEOnet along with two of its member districts have been converted to the PowerSchool software. NEOnet is currently working on converting three additional districts.

“We understand the need of school districts to have a user-friendly platform to manage all fiscal operations,” said Gdovin. “We believe that the PowerSchool eFinancePLUS software provides the most efficient way to streamline fiscal information.”

An informative letter published by Penta Career Center’s Treasurer Carrie Herringshaw, discusses the increased efficiency and improved productivity as a result of school districts implementation of PowerSchool eFinancePLUS. NEOnet invites school districts that are in need of a more efficient, streamlined solution to view the article located here.
