EMIS Alliance Troubleshooting Federal Child Count Reports

Overview

The Federal Child Count (FCC)

  • Includes students with disabilities who are receiving special education services according to their IEPs as of October 31
  • Is used in determining the amount of Special Education Part-B IDEA and Early Childhood Special Education funds allocated to the state
  • Is collected from all LEAs except for ESCs and JVSDs through the Education Management Information System (EMIS) and is submitted to the US Department of Education (USDOE)
  • This presentation will focus on troubleshooting the EMIS FCC Reports, which are generated throughout the EMIS data submission process

We will look at the FCC Detail Report and the FCC Statement of Assurances reports

Changes to Event RSVP Process

Hello! Just a quick note to let you know that we have improved our RSVP process. With this change attendees will now choose the actual location they will participate at. This helps us manage available seating.

You will see these RSVP options on events as this capability rolls out (see sample image to the left). The overall process is the same, you will simply just click the RSVP button that matches the location you will be attending.

If you need to change your location, simply use the “Modify RSVP” button and set your status to “Not Going.” Once you click “Update” your original RSVP will be cleared allowing you to choose a new location that has availability. Attending Virtually is of course available to all attendees regardless of location selected.
