DASL Update
In a recent release two new fields have been added to the students profile in DASL/SI called Gender Identity and Preferred Pronouns. The new fields can be filled in on students at  SIS > Student > Edit Profile. The fields also shows as read only on the View Profile screen (aka the screen that shows the students larger picture). The new fields are also included in Profile Bulk Update and EZ Query-Reports-SIS Student Search. The fields currently only appear in DASL and future releases may include these fields in other applications (i.e. Gradebook, DataMap, etc.). Neither of these fields get reported to EMIS. However, future federal Civil Rights reporting may request this data.

DataMap Update
The last release included a very exciting, much requested update to DataMap!

Districts now have the ability to print multiple Student Interventions at One Time!  No longer as an Intervention or Gifted Specialist or a Teacher do you need to print each Intervention one at a time!

  • To Print Interventions for several students navigate to:
    • Menu > Interventions > Student Interventions  -or-  Use the Intervention Search in the middle of the Home page of DataMap
  • Select the Student(s) whom you wish to print the Intervention by selecting the checkbox to the left of the student’s name or selecting the top checkbox to select all
    • Click   Print
      • One item to be aware of, you are limited to 100 Interventions to print at one time.
      • If more than 100 Student Interventions are selected the Print button be grayed out indicating such

We are so excited to have this enhancement in DataMap!  This was an enhancement many of our districts have requested and thanks to your knowledge and expressing the need of this feature it became a reality!

Many Thanks to All of YOU!

EMIS Update:
REMINDER: Fall Preschool ELA Assessment scores.

In January, there was a change made to the PS ELA Assessment scores. This change was updated with the StudentInformation 22.2 release. Before installing that release, NEOnet cleared your PS ELA scores for the current year; for any districts that had already loaded scores. Please ensure you have imported your Fall PS ELA scores again before this window closes on March 31, 2023.

CHANGE: When the student has a score of ‘N’ or ‘NE’ on the assessments. According to the memo, when a student scores ‘NE’, the assessment record should now be reported with a Score Not Reported value of ‘F’ and a Score of ‘***’ and when the student’s score is ‘N’, the Score Not Reported value should now be ‘S’.

FY23 Spring Preschool ELA Pre-ID Enrollment File
DASL/SI AdHoc Report has updated the FY23 – Preschool ELA Pre ID Enrollment File to include the Spring token ‘spring2023-ela.’

Majority of Attendance IRN
ODE Change 23-113, preschool students were removed from the Where Kids Count Report. This Report is used for the LRC, and preschool students are not included on the LRC. For this reason, districts do not need to make any updates to the PS students’ MOA IRN value

Reporting REMINDERS – District Building Information
Report the DN records for the Assessment Window start date. Reporting these values will assist your district in having fewer students on the Missing Report.
The Medical Group under District Organization Info (DN) contains newer areas to be reported
– Glucagon Collection
– Epinephrine Collection
– Inhaler Collection
– Diabetes Care Collection
